It was a priority for Health Proof Helsinki representatives to be at this event to foster close relations with Israeli health and med tech companies and organizations. Whilst we have learned to collaborate virtually in the past two years, physically attending the event and having the opportunity to discuss face to face the challenges and the opportunities gave our experts a valuable insight into Israel.
Finland andIsrael share many similarities in their healthcare systems. Both are cutting-edge, utilize patient data and novelty tech solutions, as well as development and innovation initiatives to tackle the current healthcare problems. Our experts have also noticed similarities in work cultures both being straightforward, friendly, and constructive. This in turn allows for fruitful communications.
Ecosystems as Health Proof Helsinki are unique. Our representatives were excited to introduce the concept in person and receive feedback and collaboration touch points.
Aim of the workshop was to give health and med tech companies deeper knowledge on hot topics as funding, ethics and regulations. Companies also had an opportunity to pitch their testing ideas to Health Proof Helsinki representatives from Metropolia, City of Helsinki and HUS.
The workshop started with presentations on Funding opportunities from BusinessFinland followed by Medical Device regulations and Ethical considerations in development and research by senior lectures at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
During the second part of the workshop experts gave individual guidance and support to companies. Experts panel consisted of Business Finland, Metropolia, Health Capital Helsinki, Health Incubator Helsinki, City of Helsinki, HUS and Metropolia representatives.
